This latest news of major magazine layoffs is not entirely a surprise—print ‘zines have been swirling around the bowl for some time, what with the synapse-frazzling rise of online Information Overload. But this is just one more depression of the flusher as “stuff on paper” surges toward the final chute and into the sewer.
