Searching for the Eaten

Call it a hobby. While I feel deeply for human beings who find themselves mired in tragedies of all sorts—tragedies that are not of their own making or misfortunes that befall people simply due to the seemingly random indifference of the universe—I do get a bit of a kick out of hearing about stupid humans deliberately doing stupid things that result in getting the shit kicked out of them by wild animals doing what they do best, i.e. eating stuff and kicking ass.

Take this man, for example. He’s apparently an American who owned some sort of predator park in India. One day the 67 year-old brain trust noticed a strange smell in the lion enclosure and waltzed inside to investigate that stench, approaching a wild male lion as if ambling over to inquire about the time of day. The lion mauled him, appropriately so, due to his reckless actions. The dude somehow survived the attack but had the lion killed as a result of his own imbecility and arrogance before the unpredictability of nature.

I would have preferred a different ending to this story, but will keep it to myself. Read about and see the blatant idiocy at the links above.
