Marshal the guillotines for the Revolution! Well it may not be as severe as all that, quite yet. But some within the publishing industry are contemplating the fact that strictures and lack of foresight in various wings of “big publishing” have killed-off authors of depth and quality.

I daresay I do concur, in many cases. And the “assorted cremes” box-of-candy approach to tokenism in the industry—ostensibly intended to produce better quality due to forced assignments of authorship and pubbing schedules—has had quite the opposite effect. I knew that crap would happen. So many Emperors … such a dearth of clothing.
