I could go on but shall segue safely into my morning java.

Bottom line: Come what may, the buying public should drive the nature of content published by “the industry” … with a little prudent nudging from editors who abide by literary standards for quality and not a driving obsession with activistic checklists. The are specialty presses for obscure shite that belongs on the periphery of the mainstream. That’s why we have mainstream stuff and peripheral stuff. And if your brand of obscure shite doesn’t have a specialty press, START ONE.
