Inventor and all-around useful egghead James Dyson apparently was engaged in a lawsuit against one of those obnoxious English newspapers and lost the battle. Does anyone ever win against these British media outlets, besides equally insufferable royalty (Wills and Kate being excepted from their less-likable kin)?

Whull, I’m sorry James lost his legal skirmish against the Mirror—did they call him a “snippy, arrogant vortex relentlessly sucking all the life and love out of the universe” or something like that? All I know is that he’d better not let this setback compromise the quality of his vacuum cleaners because I own one of them and using a Dyson has got to make vacuuming a floor a little bit less horrible than stirring the flame-pots in the Ninth Circle of Hell.

That’s saying something.
