If you happen to be traveling through Florida to shake-off any snowbird blues his holiday season, the nice folks HERE have compiled a list of the EIGHT BEST CHRISTMAS TOWNS in the Dangler State.

I can’t vouch for the Kris Kringle Kredibility of most of these places, but my old hometown of St. Augustine is on the list and The Ancient City is still akin to a shimmering jewel amid the alligator infested swamplands, tourist traps, and endless beach bars of that increasingly jam-packed state. In St. Augustine, if you happen to run into the dreaded Florida Man at Christmas-time, he is likely to be in a festive spirit and taking a break from random dismemberments and other asinine criminal capers typically associated with him and his milieu at every other time of the year. He’ll probably be wearing a Santa Claus hat and eager to buy you a drink at the cheery local pub or IPA brewery. Maybe he’ll even take you on a Ghost Tour of American’s Oldest City. Christmases Past, Present, and Future are certain to be revealing.

Yuletude brings out the best in all people. Even Floridians. It must be due to their Lack-of-Snow-Complex.
