Jonathan Kieran

This may have seemed a good idea in the days of pre-production but the execution was a big ole mess. Smart performances by the always interesting Geena Davis and British actor Ben Daniels provided some elements of interest for the sake of craft, and there were a couple of plot twists that showed promise, but in the end the entire effort was slapdash and underwhelming. The show is on TUBI for the next several days, so check it out for yourself if you are a fan of the original masterpiece, if only to see what linear, cohesive writing once was and what contemporary scripts have become in the Age of Disconnection.
