So what? Maybe it looked like one of the sand worms from Dune?

Point is: they’re never going to find a “skeleton” because sharks (prehistoric and present) don’t possess those.

The only thing people need to realize is that just one of these archaic sharks could take-out one of today’s fully grown humpback whales with ease. Otherwise, I don’t get the cryptozoological obsession with this extinct species.

That being said, I wouldn’t mind finding one of their fossilized teeth on a lonesome beach. Great for zombie encounters.
