Spotify is apparently a thriving source of royalty income for audiobook publishers and they (the Spotify honchos) claim to have shelled out PLENTY for those who deliver their prose in spoken form. Authors, of course, are disputing the claim. It would not be the first time writers have gotten the short end of the stick. How much trust do YOU have in big corporations? Pffffft.
