For those who aimlessly think that “science” in any form or discipline constitutes an even remotely reliable benchmark of empirical assurance (much less unquestionable infallibility) about ANYTHING, think again.

Four scientists studying the same phenomenon and conducting the same experiments—pick a subject, any subject—will invariably produce different conclusions and proceed to fight about their wildly fluctuating interpretations of data in print, online, at symposiums, etc.

Case and point: the supposed plight of GreatWhite Sharks, which are said (at least by Barron’s scientific sources) to be in danger of extinction, when any sensate being with limbs capable of being mangled can see that their numbers are healthier than they have been in decades, and for demonstrable reasons of conservation.

Truly, this all informational chaos comes down to the blatant manipulation and inherent contrarianism/contradictory/competitive impulses that have been infused into scientific study via rival academic institutions’ and their voracious lust for the almighty donor dollar.

Don’t believe everything you read about science. There are a lot of gadgets and whirligigs buzzing behind a multitude of curtains and you won’t even begin to get a glimpse of them.
