Jonathan Kieran

The soulful singer-songwriter from Fleetwood Mac. That band was a lot of furious, astonishing, genius, abhorrent things, but I always thought Christine was the real anchor, the unwavering heart.

I certainly like Stevie and Lindsey and Mick. Glad they are still around.

But Christine “made” that band, for me. Her piano, her song-craft.

Yeah, I can still listen to all the music, but I don’t like that she is no longer actually with us.

There’s a peculiar “hurt,” there. She was almost 80, and had lived a fulfilling life, one must presume. She said as much.

But it hurts that she’s gone.
