NO. The bishop of Rome is the worst construct in human history. Power-mad and ravenous across centuries, the Papacy has been responsible for the abuse of countless millions of children. Dante was correct in his papal afterlife portrayals.

There is no “head” of the “church” except Christ.

And in case anyone hasn’t noticed, the Roman Church “peaked” in the 13th and 14th centuries and it has been sliding down the ladder of success so swiftly ever since that all popes are born with splinters in their asses.
