Demon? Elf? Imp? Get Robert Eggers on this one, too. I’m seeing a lot of blood and guts when someone gets to the bottom of this nasty little villain.

    Many sorces about Rumpelstilzen, whos name is supposedly to based on “little stilts” Stelzchen in German, maybe tablelegs or chairlegs it is rattleing (rumpeln)around. The reference of spinning straw in to gold dates back to the fact that straw that was spun, looks indeed a bit like golden threads…..
