My favorite spot on earth, overlooking the mesmerizing Pacific between Point Lobos and Carmel River Beach. This was taken on a bluff about 400 ft. above the actual beach itself. It is an arresting spot that no photograph can adequately capture but the mind preserves the magic. How many hours have I spent running the circuitous pathways of this “best kept secret” spot and rockhounding on the sands and around tidal pools below? I would never want to count those moments, even if I could. Experiences endure when unbound by the frame of Time.
