The realm of ancient sorcerer Rowan Blaize is one in which otherwise hidden worlds collide with (or dwell alongside) our own mortal sphere. Rowan’s existence is played-out across landscapes and dreamscapes that encompass “worlds within worlds,” providing the observant traveler ample opportunity to encounter creatures of dazzling magical qualities. Some of these beings are friendly, others are belligerent, and still others have a hard time deciding among the various options. From one universe to the next, certain things never change. Character Name: BonSashay Rummy

Don’t even get me started on who should play BonSashay Rummy. It’s already been a trying week.

Nature/Occupation: Human “child beauty-pageant” contestant and aspiring superstar.

Age: Six

Background: Born in Florida, BonSashay has been groomed by her father, Chesterfield Rummy, and her slightly incapacitated mother, Fancy, for a life of multimedia superstardom beginning with regional “little girl beauty pageant” competitions. Though often exhausted by the rigorous training-schedule required to achieve this lofty goal, BonSashay has more than enough ambition to make-up for her conspicuous lack of any genuine talent.

Significant Traits: BonSashay is a lovely child, but she is a spoiled brat to end all spoiled brats. Rarely seen out of “costume,” she is precocious, able to “read” adults with ease, and ever-ready for spontaneous news interviews, publicity shots, and door-to-door soliciting of funds in order to fuel her Rocket-Ship to Stardom. Her greatest love is the cheeseburger … and her greatest enemy is fellow pageant hopeful Brenda-Bob Parson. BonSashay has been known to threaten a week of severe bedwetting if she doesn’t get her way, which is a rarity.

Unique Powers/Abilities: Though not a particularly good singer, dancer or comedienne, BonSashay is an actress more than capable of faking all three abilities and thereby separating foolish people from their better judgment … and from their money. She also knows how to rock a frilly pageant ball-gown and a pair of tap shoes.

Classic Quote: “We don’t reveal our secret weapons until the day of the pageant. I can just see that nasty Brenda-Bob Parson stealing my whole act if I was dumb enough to tell you about it on national TV, lady.”
