HERE’S THE TALE of one lucky lucky Notre Dame University alumnus who survived a mere “nibble” from a Great White Shark in my own backyard, as it were. California’s Monterey Bay is not part of the notorious “Red Triangle” for nothin’, chickens. There are some truly gruesome carcharadon carcharias accounts hailing from those ominous-but-resplendent waters over the years. I’m glad that this man’s story had a happy (if physically agonizing) ending.
