Superstardom seems to be an almost guaranteed, lifelong mindfuck for any human being, no matter how previously grounded or holistically dispositioned. That being said, the great Ben Harper deserved and continues to deserve far more widespread recognition than he has received heretofore. The man is a genius and a spiritual, sensual locus of transcendent communications to the earthly sphere. Yeah, that’s right. Then again, so am I, so nothing is a given in this mortal coil.
