The book is indeed a novel—it’s tagged as a YA title but, trust me: this is one of those books that will enchant dark fantasy and horror readers of all ages. That is a quality that weaves through the narrative like a thread fashioned from quicksilver.

And right now, in lieu of the June 18, 2026 release date, THE WEDNESDAY BOX can be preordered on Kindle for the shockingly low price of $0.99. This is a work of quality for seasoned readers and I am a seasoned writer, so I was uncertain about offering one of my “precious offspring” for literal pennies.

BUT, I haven’t released a book of this scope in six years, I have worked something possibly wonderful with this effort, and I want to introduce myself once more to as many readers as possible at the proverbial get-go. Make no mistake about it … every fan becomes a friend and, with THE WEDNESDAY BOX, there will be all kinds of fun developments, special offers, prizes, and merch to accompany the digital and paperback releases in the coming months.

I look upon this work, in particular, as a potential heirloom tale that people might want to share with trusted fellow readers, talk about as a fun, memorable experience, and even keep in their libraries to pass along to future book lovers. Its themes, while often terrifying and suspenseful, are also universal, meaningful, and give readers a remarkable new hero to root for.

Dark contemporary fantasy with an undercurrent of classical heart and soul; that’s my bailiwick.
